All participants are required to make an online registration and settle the registration fee according to the instruction under the category they belong to. One successful payment is valid for one oral/ poster presentation:

Letter of Invitation for Visa
Visa requirements for Hong Kong depends on your place of origin. Visitors MUST hold a passport which is valid for at least six months before the planned departure date to Hong Kong. Visitors from most countries are not required to obtain visas and can stay for periods varying from 7 days to 180 days, depending on nationality. Please check the Hong Kong Immigration Department and the Chinese embassy or consulate to confirm if you need an entry visa to Hong Kong or not.

Registration Guidelines

Please read registration guidelines below carefully before you submit a registration:

  1. All participants are required to make an online registration and settle the registration fee according to the instruction under the category they belong to.
  2. The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register, pay the registration fee and make an oral/ poster presentation at the Conference.
  3. By registering for the student rate, you are certifying that you are currently enrolled as a full-time student. Proof of student status is required to confirm the student rate at the registration desk onsite. The proof of student status consists of a valid student ID card or a letter from the institution's registrar verifying the current status of the student.
  4. Once registration is accepted, no refund is allowed.
  5. One successful payment is valid for one oral/ poster presentation.
  6. Delegates are not allowed to share a registration, i.e. one registration per delegate.
  7. Registration cannot be transferred to or substituted by another delegate.
  8. BMG XIII Conference Secretariat would NOT send any invitation letters until full payment of registration fee has been received.
  9. The registration form is best viewed by Chrome and Safari.
  10. Do NOT press the “BACK” button or any shortcut key during payment process.
  11. Payment process MUST be completed in 15 minutes.
  12. The BMG XIII Organizer and Conference Secretariat will NOT be responsible for any personal accidents, lost and damage to the private property of participants during the whole conference period. Participants are advised to take out their own insurance policies and to keep their belongings properly at all time.
  13. Photographs will be taken at the conference for record and publicity. By attending the conference, you agree your image may be used for these purposes.
  14. The organizing committee reserves the right of final decision.
